Demo Mahasiswa dan Desakan Indonesia Terhadap Israel

Kesatuan Aksi Mahasiswa Muslim Indonesia (KAMMI), Komisariat Universitas Muhammadyah Sumatra Utara (UMSU) hari ini (2/6/2010) berdemonstrasi mengecam keras perlakuan Israel terhadap para aktivis kemanusiaan di Kapal Mavi Marmara beberapa waktu lalu.
Kemarahan para demostran dalam ujuk rasa tersebut antara lain, memperlakukan Lambar Bendera Negara Israel dengan air selokan. Mereka juga membentangkan di tengah jalan untuk dilindas atau dilintasi oleh kendaraan. Aksi ini diikuti oleh 300-an mahasiswa. Mereka melakukan Long March dari Lapangan Merdeka, Jl. Balai Kota Medan menuju Bundaran Tugu, sambil menyeret bendera Israel.
Menurut Ketua KAMMI Sumut, Juanda Sukma mengatakan, aksi siram dan lindas lambang bendera Israel merupakan bentuk kecaman keras terhadap Israel yang telah melukai umat Islam dunia dengan melakukan pembantaian rakyat tak berdosa di Palestina. “Tidak hanya umat Islam Palestina, relawan kemanusiaan juga menjadi korban dari kebiadaban tentara Israel dengan melakukan penyerangan terhadap kapal kemanusiaan Mavi Marmara. Apa ini tidak melanggar perjanjian internasional,” kata Juanda.
Sementara itu Ken Yunita (DetikNews, 02/06/2010) mengisahkan, bahwa Keluarga Santi, salah seorang Sukarelawan RI yang tertangkap Israel bersyukur karena ia akan segera dibebaskan. Hal ini diungkapkan setelah mendengar pernyataan dari Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY).
Santi adalah salah satu Relawan dari Sahabat Al Aqsha yang bekerja sama dengan Hidayatullah, merupakan salah satu relawan WNI yang berada dalam kapal Mavi Marmara yang ditembaki Israel. SBY menyebutkan, Santi dan 11 rekannya akan dibebaskan dan akan dideportasi ke perbatasan Israel-Yordania.
Desakan Indonesia
Saat ini, Pemerintah Indonesia terus mendesak Israel segera membebaskan 12 warga negara Indonesia (WNI) yang berada di bawah kekuasaan negeri zionis tersebut. Selain itu, Pemerintah Indonesia juga menuntut Israel agar mempertanggungjawabkan perlakuannya terhadap Relawan yang telah menjadi korban kebiadaban Tentara Israel. Desakan ini dilakukan melalui pernyataan bersama Menteri ASEAN dan GCC (Gulf Cooperation) secara khusus untuk menyikapi peristiwa penyergapan kapal Mavi Marmara oleh Israel.
Pernyataan bersama ini selaras dengan posisi Pemerintah RI untuk bersama-sama ikut serta dalam perdamaian dunia, untuk bersama-sama mengecam dan mengutuk keras tindakan penyergapan Israel dan menyerukan kerjasama internasional untuk mendesak PBB agar mengambil langkah-langkah menekan Israel sesuai dengan piagam PBB. “Pernyataan bersama tersebut juga menyerukan agar pihak Israel segera membebaskan para sukarelawan yang masih ditahan di Israel,” tulis siaran pers Kementerian Luar Negeri RI.
Tercatat, sebanyak 12 WNI berada di antara 750 orang peserta misi kemanusiaan Freedom Flotilla. 2 Di antaranya diyakini mengalami luka tembak dan 10 lainnya ditahan di penjara Be’er Sheva. Sementara itu, Dubes RI untuk Yordania Zainul Bahar sudah menyiapkan tempat peristirahatan untuk 12 relawan WNI tersebut. 12 relawan WNI ini akan beristirahat sejenak di Hotel Sheraton.
