Motor Sport Honda New MegaPro
Setelah beberapa bulan tidak memberikan kepastian ihwal jadwal kehadiran model anyar pengganti Motor Sport Honda New MegaPro, PT Astra Honda Motor (PT AHM), Senin (9/8) menjawab semua rasa penasaran terhadap sosok baru itu, New Mega Pro. Agen Tunggal Pemegang Merek (ATPM) sepeda motor Honda di Indonesia itu tak hanya meluncurkan generasi paling gres di klan MegaPro itu, tetapi juga mempersilahkan juruwarta otomotif untuk membuktikan ketangguhan dan keunggulannya.
“New MegaPro ini mengusung desain baru berkonsep street fighter dengan karakter yang berotot, padat, aerodimanis dan moderen. Desain bodinya tampil lebih sportif,” papar Executive Vice President Motor Sport Honda New MegaPro Director PT AHM Johannes Loman beberapa saat sebelum acara pembuktian itu dilakukan, di Sirkuit Kecil Sentul, Bogor, Jawa Barat, Senin (9/8).
Satu penjelasan yang memantik keinginan saya untuk segera mencoba motor Motor Sport Honda New MegaPro itu adalah penjelasan Agustinus Indraputra, General Manager Marketing Planning and Analysis PT AHM. Indra – sapaan Agustinus Indraputra- menyebut, pembeda mendasar yang ada di MegaPro baru dibanding generasi sebelumnya adalah penggunaan mesin XRP Engine (X-tra Responsive Performance Engine) 150cc.
“Meski kapasitas mesin Motor Sport Honda New MegaPro kecil namun tenaga yang dihasilkan lebih besar ketimbang model sebelumnya. Selain itu, hemat bahan bakar sekaligus ramah lingkungan,” tandas dia. Rasa penasaran travel jakarta bandung semakin membuncah. Saya pun mencoba menyimak dan memahami kalimat demi kalimat penjelasan Indra.
