How I Can Be?????
“Mau kemanakah aku??”
Setiap kita pasti pernah bertanya-tanya akan hal ini dalam hati. Ya..tujuan hidup haruslah dimiliki oleh setiap insan yang hidup di dunia ini. Adalah suatu ambiguitas hidup, jika kita “tidak tahu” atau bahkan “tidak mau tahu” akan dibawa kemana hidup kita ini, bisa-bisa kita layaknya kapal tanpa kemudi dan nahkoda, yang hanya berputar-putar di laut lepas tanpa menemukan tempat untuk berlabuh.
Tak sedikit orang yang berkata, “Akh..biarin aja lah hidupku ini mengalir seperti air!” Ini bukanlah sikap yang seharusnya kita miliki sebagai seorang Kristen, sebaliknya haruslah kita memiliki tujuan hidup yang jelas sama seperti Tuhan yang menciptakan kita dengan suatu tujuan mulia dan Kristus yang datang ke dunia dengan suatu tujuan khusus demi kepentingan umat manusia.
Rick Warren dalam bukunya The Purpose Driven Life, menjelaskan bahwa tujuan hidup orang Kristen jauh lebih besar dari pada prestasi pribadi, karir, ambisi, ketenangan pikiran, bahkan lebih besar dari sekadar tujuan keluarga. Lebih lanjut ia mengatakan “jika Anda ingin tahu mengapa Anda ditempatkan di planet ini, Anda harus memulainya dengan Tuhan, Anda dilahirkan oleh tujuan-Nya dan untuk tujuan-Nya.” Jika kita ingin mengetahui tujuan yang Tuhan tetapkan bagi manusia dan khususnya bagi orang Kristen, maka kita harus melihat apa yang Tuhan tuliskan di dalam Kitab Suci.
Dalam rangkaian ayat-ayat yang terambil dari Kitab Ibrani 10:1-5 di atas, kita melihat bahwa:
- Motivasi & tujuan utama Yesus adalah, “Sungguh Aku datang untuk melakukan kehendakMu” (ayat 7), tak lain adalah untuk melakukan kehendak Tuhan. Yesus mempunyai motivasi dan tujuan yang jelas serta tak pernah menyimpang dari tujuan tersebut.
- Ada suatu skenario/peran yang sudah tertulis bagiNya di dalam gulungan naskah
- Ia harus menyerahkan tubuhNya sebagai korban persembahan.
Kata kehendakMu memakai terjemahan Yunani τελεμα “thelema” yang dapat kita definisikan of the purpose of God to bless mankind through Christ/of what God wishes to be done by us.
Mayoritas orang yang mempunyai suatu target berhasil mencapai sukses, sebab mereka mengetahui kemana arah langkah mereka. Saya teringat akan sebuah pepatah bijak, “Your decisions determine your direction, and your direction determines your destiny” , kaputusanmu menentukan arah tujuan, dan tujuanmu menentukan keberuntunganmu. Akan tetapi, jangan kita lupa untuk menyertakan kehendaj Tuhan dalam setiap rencana masa depan kita. Saya dan anda mungkin harus melewati proses yang panjang dan rumit untuk sampai pada cita-cita itu, ketika kita tergoda untuk menyerah, percayalah pada kekuatan Tuhan yang memampukan kita. Dengan begitu, kita dapat yakini diri kita untuk bangkit dari rasa putus asa dan menyongsong masa depan yang penuh harapan.
Goethe pernah mengatakan, “Hal terbesar di dunia ini bukanlah dimana Anda berdiri, melainkan kemana Anda akan pergi.” Itu artinya, jika Anda mampu menetapkan, memahami dan memperjelas tujuan hidup, maka kemungkinan untuk meraih sukses juga akan lebih besar. Mulailah untuk memotivasi diri kita agar memilki tujuan hidup yang jelas. Latih diri kita untuk dapat memberdayakan potensi yang ada, jangan hanya termangu dan bertopang dagu. Bergerak dan wujudkan impianmu bersama Tuhan. Berjalan bersama Tuhan akan membuat segala sesuatu yang mustahil menjadi mungkin untuk dilakukan.

@ Mike I know what your mean. In todays economy its difficult to find a job that pays well and is consistent. I have found that if you just work hard and are consistent you can succeed. Look at the writer of this article, they are clearly a hard worker and have just been consistent over time and are now enjoying at least what would appear as somewhat of a success. I would encourage everyone to just keep hustling and moving forward.
