SOLUSI
Perubahan dunia berlangsung dengan sangat cepat. Terlebih lagi didukung dengan canggihnya informasi sehingga banyak hal-hal yang terjadi dengan sangat cepat, seperti krisis global yang tiba-tiba melanda seluruh dunia, menyebabkan angka kemiskinan melonjak kian tajam. Kecanggihan informasi juga memicu perilaku kehidupan yang serba-bebas seperti di negara maju, sekarang melanda negara kita sehingga tidak sedikit pernikahan yang hancur, anak-anak muda hamil di luar nikah dan terjerat narkoba. Di jaman ini orang yang ketinggalan semakin lama semakin ketinggalan, sementara itu orang di iming-imingi hidup kaya ala sinetron tanpa tahu bagaimana jalan menuju kesana. Semua orang ingin kaya, ingin maju, ingin keluar dari masalah – sebagian dari mereka bukannya pemalas tetapi mereka tidak tahu solusi nya, jalan untuk keluar dari kemiskinan. Mereka perlu solusi, jalan keluar dari permasalahan mereka.
Ditengah situasi semacam ini seyogyanyalah gereja dan orang-orang Kristen mengambil peran untuk memberi solusi “terang” bagi jalan hidup masyarakat di lingkungan sekitarnya – menanamkan inspirasi nilai-nilai kebenaran yang abadi, memberi solusi berupa cara pandang dan pola pikir yang benar, keteladanan bahkan solusi dengan pelatihan nyata bukan hanya memberikan kotbah yang memotivasi semata apalagi menuding kesalahan. Semua ingin sesuatu solusi yang praktis, solusi yang bisa dipraktekkan dan solusi yang membawa perubahan bagi hidup mereka. Pada dasarnya sebagian besar orang yang melakukan kesalahan, sadar akan kesalahannya sebelum ada orang lain yang mengatakannya, tetapi kecenderungan kita tidak ingin dikritik. Yang kita inginkan adalah solusi – bimbingan langkah demi langkah untuk keluar dari masalah kita.
Bila tersingkap, firman-firmanMu memberi terang, memberi pengertian kepada orang-orang bodoh.
Mazmur 119 : 130
Pondok Hayat adalah salah satu contoh solusi nyata bagi kebutuhan para “calon ibu” yang sebagian besar hamil di luar nikah, tidak mempunyai suami, ditolak keluarganya dan tidak memiliki tempat berteduh maupun biaya untuk melahirkan. Visi pondok hayat adalah memberi solusi bagi ibu dan anak, menyelamatkan anak yang akan di- aborsi. Mereka adalah wanita-wanita dengan beraneka ragam latar belakang yang butuh solusi nyata ; ada yang terlibat narkoba, putus sekolah, akibat pergaulan bebas bahkan ada yang gila. Wanita-wanita ini tinggal di asrama. Disana mereka diterima, dilayani, dibimbing setiap hari dengan kebenaran firman Tuhan dan diberi makanan bergizi meskipun kebanyakan mereka tinggal di Pondok Hayat tanpa dipungut biaya sepeserpun. Mereka tidak usah kuatir dengan bayi mereka karena jika mereka ingin meninggalkan bayi mereka disana, bayi mereka akan dipelihara dengan baik. Kalau mereka ingin membawa dan memelihara bayi mereka maka Pondok Hayat memberi solusi dengan tetap memantau dan memberi bantuan bagi mereka. Para calon ibu bisa menantikan kelahiran bayinya dengan tenang – mereka yakin bahwa apapun keputusan mereka maka mereka bersama bayinya dalam keadaan yang cukup terjamin. Tentunya hal ini berpengaruh sekali terhadap perkembangan janin dalam kandungan mereka.
Pondok Hayat – Solusi bagi “ibu” dengan kehamilan yang tidak diharapkan
Anak-anak yang ditinggalkan disana, banyak yang sudah dirawat oleh orang tua asuh dari keluarga yang baik, berkecukupan dan cinta Tuhan – mereka mendapat pendidikan yang bermutu, lingkungan baik dan kasih yang tulus. Sebagian lagi, saat mulai memasuki usia tiga tahun, mereka disalurkan ke panti asuhan milik Pondok Hayat. Di sana mereka sekolah di sekolah sederhana yang berbasis bahasa Inggris. Setiap pembimbing menangani 4 orang anak sehingga perhatian pada setiap anak terjaga dengan baik. Panti asuhan ini sering menjadi inspirasi dan dipuji karena kerapian dan kebersihannya. Ini mencerminkan terpeliharanya anak-anak ini baik secara jasmani maupun rohani.
Disamping itu ada juga pelayanan Taman Gizi yaitu solusi jasmani dan Minggu Ceria yaitu solusi rohani, yang dimulai 5 tahun yang lalu saat ibu Liana mengadakan perayaan ulang tahun anaknya. Saat itu ternyata kerabatnya tidak bisa hadir. Sebagai solusi, maka perayaanpun diadakan di Pondok Hayat dengan mengundang anak-anak yang ada di sekitarnya. Ternyata Tuhan punya rencana tersendiri. Mereka begitu senang dan menjadi inspirasi, maka tergeraklah hati ibu Liana untuk secara rutin memberi makanan bergizi bagi anak-anak di sekitar tempat itu setiap hari Sabtu dilengkapi dengan pelajaran seperti sekolah minggu. Pelayanan ini telah memberikan kesempatan sekolah pada 90 orang anak dengan beasiswa yang didukung oleh sebuah yayasan.
Sejak setahun lalu, mereka juga menjadi solusi bagi lebih banyak kaum papa dengan melayani para pemulung dan anak-anak putus sekolah. Bermula dari pertemuan ibu Liana secara tidak sengaja dengan 3 anak pemulung , hatinya tergerak saat mengetahui seorang diantaranya tidak pernah mengenal bangku sekolah, yang seorang lagi bahkan tidak tahu berapa umurnya dan tidak bisa berbahasa Indonesia dan yang terakhir anak putus sekolah. Dibawanya ketiga anak itu ke rumahnya dan dimasakkan nasi goreng dengan sosis dan telur. Ketika makan salah seorang diantaranya hanya memakan nasinya saja sedangkan sosis dan telurnya disingkirkan di samping. Ibu Lianapun bertanya apakah dia tidak suka sosis dan telurnya? Ternyata anak ini ingin membawa sosis dan telur itu pulang ke rumah untuk adiknya. Sungguh mengharukan. Melalui peristiwa ini, Tuhanpun menunjukkan pelayanan yang harus dirintis ibu Liana. Bermula dari 3 anak pemulung yang dilayani kemudian berkembang hingga 400 orang. Disana disediakan kelas-kelas sehingga mereka mendapatkan sekolah gratis, tidak hanya untuk anak-anak tetapi juga untuk ibu mereka, hingga fasilitas membeli barang-barang kebutuhan sehari-hari dengan harga yang sangat murah.
Mujijat demi mujijat mereka alami dan Tuhan memberikan ide, inspirasi, kesempatan serta mencukupi segala kebutuhan mereka dari waktu ke waktu hingga setiap orang bisa menyaksikan betapa Tuhan Yesus itu hidup dan berkarya secara nyata dalam kehidupan mereka setiap hari. Meskipun semuanya bebas biaya tetapi Ibu Liana bersaksi bahwa mereka tidak pernah berkekurangan. Ketika seseorang mengerjakan segala sesuatu dengan excellent, sesuai dengan kehendak Tuhan maka dukunganpun mengalir karena donatur yang ter inspirasi percaya bahwa semua dikelola dengan benar. Tuhanpun mempercayakan hal-hal yang lebih besar. 10 tahun berlalu tanpa terasa, Pondok Hayat telah menjadi inspirasi dan solusi dengan menjawab kebutuhan begitu banyak wanita dan anak-anak. Kasih yang diungkapkan melalui tindakan yang nyata.
Saya tidak berharap menjadi segalanya bagi setiap orang,
tetapi saya ingin menjadi sesuatu bagi seseorang.
Javan, penemu laser gas.
Ada seorang wanita miskin yang hamil tanpa suami, dia bermaksud menggugurkan janin yang dikandungnya maka diminumlah segala macam jamu dan obat penggugur kandungan. Tetapi hal itu tidak memberi solusi, janin itu tetap disana. Pada suatu malam, dia bermimpi bertemu dengan seorang pria yang membawa tongkat dan sedang menggendong domba memberitahu agar dia tetap memelihara janin yang dikandungnya. Yang ajaib ternyata malam itu juga ibu wanita tadi bermimpi hal yang sama, maka sepakatlah mereka untuk membiarkan bayi itu hidup.
Wanita inipun merantau ke Surabaya menjadi pembantu rumah tangga. Ketika kandungannya semakin besar, dia tidak mungkin lagi bekerja, secara kebetulan ada seseorang yang memberinya solusi dengan mengantarnya ke Pondok Hayat. Ketika sedang mendapat bimbingan rohani, wanita ini bercerita kepada pembimbingnya bahwa orang dalam lukisan di dinding itulah yang datang dalam mimpinya. Yang ditunjuk ternyata gambar Tuhan Yesus yang sedang menggendong seekor domba dan membawa sebilah tongkat. Betapa luar biasanya kasih Yesus! Tidak lama kemudian, wanita ini melahirkan seorang anak laki-laki tampan yang diberi nama Nicholas dan ditinggalkan di Pondok Hayat. Ketika Nicholas berusia 4 bulan, mulailah ibu Liana curiga karena Nicholas tidak bereaksi saat melihat sesuatu. Dari hasil pemeriksaan dokter ternyata Nicholas buta.
Doapun bersama-sama dipanjatkan baik dari Pondok Hayat maupun teman-teman di MDC, yang memohon mujijat bagi kesembuhan Nicholas. Dalam sebuah KKR di Surabaya, Ibu Liana membawa Nicholas kesana dan dia mendapat mujijat, disembuhkan dari kebutaan. Ini membuktikan bahwa mujijat Tuhan masih berlangsung sampai hari ini. Jika kita renungkan lagi kisah hidup Nicholas, maka kitapun menyadari bahwa tidak ada sesuatu yang kebetulan dalam hidup manusia. Bahkan Tuhan peduli pada Nicholas sejak masih dalam kandungan meskipun ibu dan keluarganya tidak mengenalNya. Tuhan mengatur setiap waktu dengan tepat untuk membawa kebaikan sebagai solusi bagi kehidupan anak-anakNya.
Bila anda menjalani hidup yang hebat dan tidak berkotbah,
anda akan menyelamatkan jiwa ribuan kali lebih banyak dibandingkan
jika anda menjalani hidup yang kerdil dan terus berkotbah.

Seperti Tuhan Yesus saat berada di dunia, Dia mengajarkan kebenaran tetapi juga memberikan solusi dengan menjawab kebutuhan orang-orang di sekelilingnya. Yang sakit disembuhkan, yang kerasukan setan dilepaskan, yang berzinah bukannya dilempari batu tetapi diberi pengampunan dan kesempatan agar bertobat. Para pemungut cukai dan orang-orang berdosa tanpa harus dituding, mereka sudah menyadari bahwa mereka melakukan perbuatan yang jahat – mereka dikucilkan dan dibenci masyarakat. Tuhan Yesus tidak berkotbah saat bertemu Zakheus, tetapi begitu Yesus datang ke rumahnya maka Zakheus bertobat, mengembalikan semua uang yang diperasnya 4 kali lipat dan menyerahkan separuh hartanya untuk orang miskin. Zakheus menemukan jalan untuk diterima dan mengalami pemulihan. Penerimaan dan kasih yang diungkapkan melalui perbuatan nyata jauh lebih efektif daripada ribuan kata yang dikumandangkan. Mari kita mulai bertindak!!!
Jika kita tidak dapat mencintai manusia yang bisa kita lihat,
bagaimana mungkin kita bisa mencintai Tuhan yang tidak bisa kita lihat?
