Ayo Menulis….
Seorang teman pernah berkata,
“Pena itu bisa mengubah pemikiran, kepercayaan bahkan tindakan. Kalau dulu senjata mulai dari pedang sampai rudal adalah senjata berbahaya, ternyata pena lebih berbahaya dari itu semua. Ketika pena menggoreskan tinta, tanpa sadar berjuta orang terperdaya.”
Berawal dari itu semua, saya sempat berpikir sejenak, apakah mungkin bisa sampai sebegitu parahnya. Sampai saya pun akhirnya terperdaya oleh sebuah tulisan di salah satu novel islami. Satu, dua, sepuluh, bahkan lebih sudah saya lahap dengan begitu rakusnya buku-buku tersebut. Hingga sampai pada satu titik kesimpulan dialetika pertanyaan sederhana. Kenapa mereka (penulis-penulis tersebut, pen) bisa membuat tulisan sebagus itu? Apakah saya bisa seperti mereka?
Dengan berbekal kemampuan bertanya yang saya pikir bisa membuat orang jengkel, akhirnya saya ‘berguru’ kepada orang-orang yang saya anggap bisa ‘menulis’. Mulai dari teman, bacaan, tips dan trik, hingga mbak saya. Ya akhirnya beginilah hasilnya. Sedikit banyak sudah bisa menulis walaupun tidak konsisten, tidak runut dan sedramatis tulisan Asma Nadia, Pipiet Senja dan penulis muda lainnya.
Pun halnya sekarang, ketika saya sudah bergelut di dunia jurnalistik (walaupun tidak sehebat kompas atau apalah), saya masih belum merasa cukup dan merasa ‘saya harus lebih giat belajar dan belajar’. Dan inilah saya, sedang menumpahkan banyak sekali pikiran (walaupun kapasitas pikiran saya sedikit) diatas lembaran putih, dengan jari-jari menari diatas keyboard bermerek IBM. Dengan harapan akan lebih banyak masukan yang dapat membangun dalam berkembangnya kemampuan dan daya tulisanku untuk lebih membuat orang lain ‘terperdaya’.

Menulislah. Selama engkau tidak menulis, engkau akan hilang dari dalam masyarakat dan dari pusaran sejarah
