Kisah Terenyuh di Statsiun Sudimara
True Story
Tadi pagi selagi menunggu KRL AC Serpong-Jakarta mau berangkat ke kantor, tiba-tiba terdengar makian dari seorang ibu-ibu. Perempuan setengah baya itu berpakaian cukup rapih sehingga sepintas lalu nampak seperti salah seorang dari pedagang asongan yang berkeliaran di Stasiun KA Sudimara. Dengan wajah yang muram dan kusut, celoteh makian terus keluar dari mulut si ibu dan terdengar jelas setiap perkataannya walaupun tidak jelas kepada siapa makian itu ditujukan.
Beberapa yang sempat terekam dalam ingatan, celoteh si ibu antara lain “Pake otak loe, masak masalah thermos gue yang disalahin…emang gampang nyari duit….mana sekarang apa-apa mahaal….mikiiir dong loe….anak banyak sekolah mahal…” dst. Sangat terenyuh (touching) hati ini mendengar celotehan si ibu yang rupanya sudah tidak kuat menanggung beban hidup yang makin hari makin berat…Si ibu memang terlihat tidak waras, tapi ungkapan-ungkapan penderitaannya terdengar sangat waras mewakili sangat banyak saudara-saudara kita sebangsa dan setanah air…
So what gitu lho…
Kita mungkin sering geram dan mengumpat ke wong cilik yang sedang bergulat mempertahankan hidup mereka: supir angkot yang seenaknya ngetem cari penumpang bikin macet jalan, pengamen dengan suara fals yang mengusik kenyamanan kita, pengendara sepeda motor yang nyelip kiri kanan dengan jarak yang sangat tipis dengan mobil kita, pembantu baru yang belum becus kerjanya, supir yang terlambat jemput karena macet atau salah ambil jalan, dsb.
Begitu besarnya dampak liputan media cetak dan media elektronik sehingga kita cenderung diajak ber-empati kepada keluarga Pak Harto yang sedang berduka sepeninggal beliau. Tapi sangat minim liputan media untuk mengajak kita semua ber-empati kepada masyarakat yang sedang bingung dan sangat mungkin bertambah yang menjadi gila seperti si ibu tadi karena tekanan hidup yang semakin berat tanpa tahu bagaimana jalan keluarnya.
