Mimpi yang Sempurna
Melangkah lebih jauh demi sebuah masa depan adalah impian anak muda. Sesekali mereka berangan –angan bahwa mereka hidup bahagia di masa tua. Tapi sesungguhnya itu belum tentu terjadi. Kenyataan akan membangunkan kita dari mimpi –mimpi kita saat kita terlarut dalam kemalasan. Bukti itu nyata dan biasa terjadi di Indonesia. Kebanyakan orang memiliki etos kerja yang tak memuaskan. Sebagian besar menganggap globalisasi itu penuh dengan hal instan tanpa bekerja keras. Budaya yang seperti ini sudah menjadi darah daging di semua kalangan masyarakat Indonesia. Tua muda, kaya miskin, pintar bodoh, atau laki wanita sama saja. Lambat laun ini akan membuahkan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kualitas negara Indonesia. Bagaimana mereka menyebut cinta tanah air kalau yang ia bela hanya uang? Kenapa mereka harus berkorban kalau hanya demi materi? Dan apa yang mereka mau? Hidup egois jawabannya. Semua yang ternaik adalah miliknya, itu tujuan hidup pada prisnsip masyarakat modern. Segala hal yang menyangkut ego harus lebih dari yang disampingnya.
Dua anak muda melangkah di samping jalan. Mereka mengenakan jaket dan sepatu ket biasa. Yang menarik, mereka hanya mengenakan celana dalam. Dua orang ini seolah tak acuh dengan orang –orang yang melihatnya. Pikiran orang yang melihat hal ini pasti menganggap mereka ini hanya mencari sensasi saja. Berjalan telanjang di pinggir jalan untuk dilihat banyak orang dan setelah itu punya cerita menarik untuk disampaikan pada teman –temannya. Mereka anggap ini eksistensi diri. Ketika ditanya kenapa eksistensi itu perlu, mereka menjawab ingin dikenal oleh semua orang. Ketika ditanya lagi mengapa mereka ingin terkenal, mereka menjawab karena saya suka terkenal. Nah, hanya itu yang menjadi tujuan akhir dari budaya anak muda sekarang. Hidupku adalah milikku dan akan kulakukan untuk diriku sendiri.
Tapi ada anggapan yang seharusnya menjadi patokan perilaku anak muda bangsa ini. Nasionalisme harga mati. Tak ada kalimat yang lebih indah dari kalimat ini. Sejak bung Karno dan bung Hatta menorehkan tinta emasnya di naskah proklamasi, tak ada yang menyangkal bahwa Bangsa Indonesia sudah merdeka. Jadi ketika bangsa Asing datang untuk mengambil kekuasaan penuh kembali, segenap bangsa menolak dan melakukan perlawanan. Tetapi perlawanan telah habis. Daya guna anak muda telah terkuras diganti dengan narkoba, freesex, dan lain –lain. Lebih baik mencintai negara sepenuh hati daripada mencintai seorang wanita yang tak setia.
Sesampainya dua anak muda telanjang tadi di depan rumahnya, ternyata ada ambulan di rumah yang menunggu. Ibu mereka menangis meronta –ronta, seolah olah ada seseorang yang telah pergi meninggalkan. Melihat kejadian itu, dua orang anak muda ini, yang ternyata adalah kakak beradik, terkejut. Dalam hatinya ada tanda tanya yang membuat ketakutan. Ternyata ambulan itu adalah ambulan dari Rumah Sakit jiwa. Kemudian datang para perawat yang menjemput paksa dua orang anak muda ini. Semua orang menyangka bahwa dua anak muda ini telah kehilangan kewarasannya. Ibunya yang sangat menyayangi mereka sungguh menyesalkan perbuatan ini.
Terkadang terjadi hal yang tidak kita duga sebelumnya. Kenyataan berbeda jauh dengan apa yang kita impikan. Bermimpilah semaumu, tapi jangan pernah engkau lupa bahwa mimpimu itu baru hadir dalam pikiran kita, belum sampai muncul dalam hidup kita. Selama masih ada kesempatan, mari kita wujudkan segala impian kita. Karena saat kita tak bermimpi, kita tak akan pernah punya harapan. Namun, saat kita selalu bermimpi, kita akan mati karena kita tak pernah bangun.
