POTENSI AGROPOLITAN BEJIHARJO
Bejiharjo adalah sebuah nama salah satu desa dikecamatan Karang Mojo,kabupaten gunung kidul DIY,desa ini terpilih menjadi percontohan desa pertanian ,desa Agropolitan adalah sebutan baru desa ini untuk mencapai desa ini cukup mudah pasalnya bejiharjo cukup dekat dengan kota Wonosari kurang lebih berjarak 2 km,untuk menuju kesana bisa naik angkutan umum kobutri atau dengan kendaraan pribadi ,akses jalan nampaknya mulai jadi perioritas desa ini semenjak terpilih menjadi desa agropolitan. Desa agropolitan terkesan sebuah desa yang subur dengan air irigasi yang memadai sebagai sarana pengairan ,ironis memang kedengaranya desa yang mempunyai 20 dusun didalamnya , hanya sebagian kecil saja yang teraliri irigasi diantaranya adalah dusun gelaran didusun ini mempunyai sebuah sumber mata air yang cukup memadai yang kemudian di bangun bendungan kecil bernama banyu moto disamping sebagai irigasi pertanian keberadaan bendungan ini juga dimanfaatkan sebagai penakaran ikan air tawar.
BANYAK DITEMUKAN SUMBER MATA AIR
Bejiharjo sebenarnya banyak ditemukan subermata air yang melimpah diberbagai tempat disebelah timur balai desa bejiharjo berjarak sekitar 600 meter terdapat sumbermata air yang belum optimal fungsinya, orang memberi nama Mbeji mungkin karena berada di desa bejiharjo ,ada lagi bernama mudal yang tak jauh dari mbeji namun keberadaanyapun belum optimal sebagai sarana irigasi.
Satu lagi di dusun Grogol 2 kira kira 800 meter dari balai dusun sebelah utara terdapat sumur yang tak kalah melimpahnya masyarakat setempat menamainya sumur Jemblong ,kalau kita berada didekat sumur ini kita akan mendengar gemuruh air yang mengalir deras,sumur ini terhubung dengan sungai bawah tanah dengan kedalaman 30 meter konon sumur ini jebol dan tembus sungai bawahtanah saat penggali sumur menancapkan linggis pada kedalaman 30 meter disebelah timur sumur ini juga ada lembah gersang yang terdapat Goa yang juga terhubung dengan sungai bawah tanah tersebut goa ini bernama goa Gereng ,kita berharap kepala desa yanto dan pemerintah setempat mau mensuport serta mengoptimalkan banyaknya potensi sumber mata air sebagai sarana irigasi dan sebagainya..Santo
