Mata Hati
Aku, kau, kalian, sebagai manusia punya mata, dua biji di wajah. Tetapi, tentu kita pernah mendengar juga tentang mata hati. Dua biji mata kita ini, bisa berbicara banyak. Tetapi, mata hati lebih menentukan arah kehidupan kita.
Sayangnya, mata hati kita perlu sering diperbaharui seperti mata tua yang perlu dioperasi ‘katarak’. Mungkin karena mata hati kita terlalu lama, akhirnya selalu buram untuk melihat orang lain yang berbeda warna kulit, golongan sosial ekonomi atau agama.
Mata hati kita yang lama dan sakit ‘katarak’ itu perlu dioperasi, menjadi mata hati yang baru. Semoga saja dengan mata hati yang baru itu, kita dapat mengarahkan perhatian yang tulus kepada sesama, yang berbeda etnis, ras, atau agama. Tetapi, sebagai masyarakat Indonesia yang majemuk, memang perlu keberanian untuk menjadi sesama bagi orang lain yang berbeda.
Jangan takut!!Harus berani!!, walau akan ditentang oleh kawan sendiri. “Buat apa memperhatikan ke luar, di dalam saja belum beres”. Tentu saja, yang di dalam tidak boleh terlantar dan diabaikan. Yang paling penting, mengarahkan mata hati ke luar tidak boleh bertentangan dengan perhatian ke dalam.
